David Lynch talks to Mike Doherty of Salon.com about his new album, Crazy Clown Time, how he writes his music, and why he thinks brutality can be funny (link via 3:AM Magazine): 'In Frank Booth [the nightmarish villain played by Dennis Hopper], in "Blue Velvet,” I saw so much humor, and many times, I would have to cover my face, in his most brutal scenes.
